Yealink SIP T2 Review

Yealink is a Chinese company that specializes in video conferencing, phone communications, and interaction solutions. It was founded in 2001. Yealink also became China’s leading SIP phone service in less than a decade and has lately begun to form agreements with other Chinese companies such as Cimb Cloud, and Mobile Operators.

Yealink showcases the use of its VoIP in Sampson County Schools in the United States in a variety of case studies. Given that many school districts continue to suffer the costs and hassles associated with the traditional PBX telephone systems, the implementation of Yealink VoIP phones (in this example, the T26P model) has substantially enhanced communication at the schools while not adding to their budgeting challenges. Over the course of their 5 years of operations, the phones have had a rate of failure compared with fewer than 2.5 percent.

T2 Series

The T2 series from Yealink has six distinct models, varying from entry-level phones to high-end phones that may be used in any business. The SIP-T19P E2 IP phone is the most cost-effective alternative, as it is a single-line handset with a variety of useful VoIP capabilities and excellent quality materials.

This SIP-T19P E2 features a graphical LCD display with 132×64 pixels, twin 10/100 Mbps open ports, and inbuilt Power-over-Ethernet, making it perfect for prolonged network use. Even though the notion that this model only allows a single VoIP account may disqualify it for some businesses, the fact that it can be used with a headset or mounted on the wall gives it some versatility.

With three SIP lines and a lighted 132×64 Lcd display, the SIP-T23G is a step up in price. While competing devices may provide more sophisticated capabilities, the SIP-T23G is difficult to top in terms of value. In addition, the 32 keys, featuring four sensitive keys, allow for a lot of personalization. The SIP-T23G may also be auto-provisioned, which means that companies will get a phone which is already configured.

The SIP-T29G phone is the most sophisticated model in the Yealink T2 series, with a high-resolution TFT capacitive touchscreen, making it the only handset in this entry-level range that supports color output. The SIP-T29G also has 12 SIP lines for moderate to heavy VoIP users, as well as Optima HD technology for perfectly clear sound quality. It’s also important to mention that the T29G may be upgraded with an extension module, increasing the number of programmable keys accessible to users significantly. Overall, contact center employees and executive users who don’t want to spend a fortune would have to do a lot worse than opting for a T2 device.
